Everyone is excited about the return of the ZR2 on the all-new Colorado pickup and the public finally got their first glimpse of the concept recently at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The new Colorado features 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and under the hood, Chevy’s eagerly anticipated 2.8-liter Duramax diesel.

In addition, the ZR2 concept is more than four inches wider than the current top-end Colorado Z71 and comes equipped with a built-in winch and flip-out tow hooks.

As far as offroading, the new ZR2 is better prepared to handle trails with more stability than ever before thanks to a two-inch lift, King coilover shocks, 275/65 tires on 18-inch “bead-lock-style” wheels and electronically locking front and rear differentials.

Scheid Diesel can service any diesel engine including, but not limited to agricultural, construction, heavy duty truck, and automotive. Scheid has also made its mark in the diesel performance market with tractor and pickup truck pulling as well as diesel drag racing.
