Ford recently made its 3 millionth small-capacity diesel engine at its Dagenham factory, which is considered the company’s diesel center.

Incredibly, 365,000 small capacity engines were made in 2013 alone in 1.4 and 1.6 liter forms, however the 1.4 was upped to a 1.5 liter last year.

Approximately 76,000 Ford vehicles sold in the UK were equipped with the small-capacity diesel engine, making up about 1/5 of Ford’s 2013 sales.

All vehicles must meet the latest Euro-6 emission regulations by September 2015.

Scheid Diesel can service any diesel engine including, but not limited to agricultural, construction, heavy duty truck, and automotive. Scheid has also made its mark in the diesel performance market with tractor and pickup truck pulling as well as diesel drag racing.
